This year Fleet Carnival asked all Local Junior and Primary schools in Fleet, Crookham, Crondall and Dogsmerfield to enter a competition to decide the Carnival theme. Each school was asked to enter one theme. The method used was up to the school. The winning theme was chosen by the Carnival Committee.

The winning entry was from Church Crookham Junior School. Two children, Alex Harvey (yr3) and Aimee Crilley  (yr4) both thought up the same theme and the school decided it was the best theme to put forward from the school.

The  theme is "DIFFERENT CULTURES FROM AROUND THE WORLD"

A special plate was made by "Just Ceramics" in Fleet Rd and was presented to the winning children by Allan Gibson, Carnival's Vice Chairman and competition organiser.
